Neston Angels have been awarded funding from Wirral Care Foundation to pilot a Stepping Stones social club for older people.
Befrienders and clients had a wonderful time at the Foundation's celebration night at the Lever Club in Port Sunlight on 18th July. They got to meet Home Instead Senior Care Wirral’s founders Cathy and Mike Chalton and hear about their passion for supporting the community, and heard from lots of other groups who had also won funding for the amazing work they’re doing. It was so nice to get clients and befrienders together for a night out that we’re seriously thinking of making it a regular event!
